Section 07
Reports
Turn a date range of appliance activity into a self-contained, exportable PDF report.
The Reports page turns a date range of appliance activity into a single, self-contained report you can review on screen and hand to someone else as a PDF: a weekly security summary, a monthly compliance pack, or an ad-hoc snapshot. Everything in a report is drawn from the same telemetry that feeds the Dashboard, bounded to the window you pick and frozen at the moment you generate it.
What you see
A controls bar: Report name (defaults to Security Report), From and To date pickers (inclusive), a Generate button, and Export PDF. Six section checkboxes, all ticked by default, control what the report contains:
- Summary metrics
- Threat activity (line)
- Classification breakdown (bar)
- Action breakdown (pie)
- Model risk (bar)
- Top users (table)
The rendered report opens with your report name and a subline showing the range and exact generation timestamp, followed by the blocks you selected: six summary tiles (Total Events, Flagged, Block Rate %, Avg Latency, Throughput/hr, Errors), the threat-activity line, and the breakdown charts and top-users table.
How to use it
- Type a Report name that identifies the report for its reader.
- Set the From/To window.
- Leave all sections ticked for a full report, or untick the ones you do not need.
- Click Generate and review it on screen.
- Click Export PDF to save a copy.
A report is a point-in-time snapshot: the generation timestamp is baked in. If the data or your selections change, click Generate again before exporting: the PDF captures whatever is currently rendered.
Reports is read-only by nature, so both roles can set a range, generate and export.
Note. Export PDF uses the browser's print path, so page size and margins come from the print dialog: choose Save as PDF as the destination.
