Section 10
System
Service control, IP configuration, hardware diagnostics and firewall configuration for the appliance itself.
System is the control panel for the appliance itself, as opposed to the security features. It has four tabs (Service Control, IP Configuration, Hardware Diagnostics and Firewall Configuration) and remembers which tab you were on.
Service Control
One card per Lucien service, each showing a friendly name, the underlying systemd unit, a status badge, and three fields: Active State (active), Sub State (running), and Boot (enabled = starts at boot). Each card has Start / Stop and its own Refresh.
To restart a service after a config change, click Stop, let the state settle, then Start. This is where you start or stop the ticketing connector (lucien-ticket.service) referenced on the Settings page. See the Services reference for the full unit list.
IP Configuration
Choose the NIC under Interface (e.g. eno8303), then either toggle DHCP on, or set IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS by hand.
Caution: auto-revert. Applying changes starts a 60-second confirmation window. If the new settings break your connection, the appliance automatically restores the previous configuration. This is the one page where a mistake can lock you out of the console until the auto-revert fires: change it deliberately, with console access as a fallback.
Hardware Diagnostics
A read-only health view headed by hostname and uptime. It shows the FPGA card (xilinx_u50_gen3x16_xdma_base_5) with an ONLINE badge, temperature and power; the network interface with link status and live RX/TX; and the CPU (32 cores, Intel Xeon Silver 4309Y) with a per-core utilisation grid and an average.
Use it to confirm the FPGA accelerator is ONLINE and cool before trusting FPGA-based detections, to check link status, and to spot CPU saturation.
Firewall Configuration
The appliance's firewalld state for the default zone (public), with a Refresh. Allowed Services is a grid of named services with a green dot when enabled (e.g. http, https, mdns, ssh). Open Ports is a table of explicitly opened ports with protocol and a delete icon (22, 80, 443, 2000, 5000, 5173, 6000: all TCP).
Caution: live effect. Firewall edits apply to the live appliance. Do not remove the console's HTTPS (443) or SSH (22) unless you have another way in.
Access
Service Control, IP Configuration and Firewall edits are Administrator-only; Hardware Diagnostics is visible to everyone.
